Yup, a Mustang II. It is pretty fast, when it runs properly.

I actually wouldn't mind owning a Mustang II. I like the styling, and it would be the only one at almost any car show.

Last car show I went to, there were probably a dozen 64.5-70s, but no Fatstangs and no Mustang IIs.

If you could make it there!

Every time I see or hear about one of these cars I think of the Drive By Truckers lyric.
"First one that I bought was a Mustang number two, nobody kept 'em any longer than they kept a pair of shoes.
They started showin' up at every used car lot in town, a V8 in a go-kart, easy terms, no money down."

How is the lot at Route 66 for Autocrossing? I'm plenty familiar with its surface but have yet to make an Autocross there.

It is pretty good. The first runs usually has a dusty lot, so their times are always slower, but then after that it is pretty nice. It is big and generally fast. Not as good as Grissom in Indy though!

Seriously, it looked like it would eat my car! I think the front and rear tire footprints are 300+

V8 in a go-kart? Well, it might have been small, but it wasn't the best handler. More like a V8 in a shopping car.

Hmm, my brother lives in Indy, now I have two places to try and run at.

It isn't exactly in Indy, I want to say it is about 40ish minutes north. It isn't that far out. It is great though, big and open, and it has a ton of grip too! Best place to autocross I have been to!
